Magnus came up in the game as a semi-pro — moving through clubs, academies, and private coaching. He's sat in every seat the coaches we work with sit in today, and he knows exactly what running a coaching business actually feels like.
He launched FirstTouch, an Instagram page posting highlights of young Australian players. Before long, academies and coaches were paying to get in front of that audience. First lesson learned: attention is the asset.
At 18 he stepped inside Nardo, a Sydney teamwear brand rewriting the category. Its founder Beau — the man behind Geedup, Australia's biggest streetwear label — taught him marketing properly. And Nardo kept him surrounded by the clubs and academies he'd later serve.
He put both halves together — the game and the marketing — and started working for free with academy owners he knew. The results spoke for themselves. That's the moment Onside Consulting was born.
